United Way Events

From annual favourites like the Plasma Car Race, UVic Artisans Market, and the Pub Quiz, there are lots of ways to get involved in UVic's United Way campaign.

Artisans Market

The Artisans Market features local artisans in the 樱花影视 community and offers a variety of hand-crafted items. The market will be located in the Michèle Pujol Room from 12-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.

Plasma Car Race

UVic Faculty and staff race plasma cars to raise money for the United Way.

The Plasma Car Race is a signature event where UVic faculty and staff join together to race plasma cars and raise funds that support the United Way. The race will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 in the Michèle Pujol Room.

Pub Quiz

UVic United Way Pub quiz hosted at the Grad House
The Pub Quiz is a fun and engaging event where you can get together with friends and family and test your knowledge. The quiz will be held at the Grad house on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Book Sale

The UVic bookstore has a table set up year-round with all proceeds donated to United Way.
