Water damage at Mearns – McPherson Library

Due to recent heavy rainfall, Mearns Centre for Learning - McPherson Library has sustained some localized water damage on the upper floors. Water damage to library collections is minimal.
All spaces are open for library patrons, with the exception of the third floor and third mezzanine levels of McPherson Library. We may be able to provide alternate versions of books and items in these areas. Please contact us for help accessing any materials you are unable to retrieve in person.
UVic Libraries will be closed from Dec. 24 (2 pm), 2025 until Jan. 1, 2026, inclusive. We will re-open on Jan. 2, 2026.
