Green Hydrogen and E-fuels
ACET's green hydrogen and e-fuels research is finding better ways to produce clean hydrogen energy.
Our researchers are developing new materials used in next-generation technologies to turn water into hydrogen more cheaply and efficiently than existing options. They're also exploring how to make hydrogen from organic waste, which Canada has in abundance thanks to its forestry and agriculture industries.
Using these natural materials and affordable energy, we are designing powerful new green hydrogen technologies and supporting local companies by building them here in Canada.
Beyond the science, we also help communities determine whether hydrogen can meet their energy needs.
Through partnerships with communities, universities, governments and industries, we are establishing Canada as a global leader in hydrogen energy while boosting community resilience through clean energy innovation.
