About Rodney
Dr. Herring is performing research in the realm of physical sciences and engineering.
Materials sciences include growing and characterizing crystals and their associated defects using electron holography, developing optoelectronic materials and devices including photo- and electrocatalysts applied to disinfecting and cleaning surfaces, water and air.
Constructing several types of imagers applied to objects ranging in size from subatomic using electron beams to humans with acoustic beams to the ocean using sonar to atmosphere and earth disturbances using radio waves.
