Partnering for a Shared Future: City of Ó£»¨Ó°ÊÓ and Campus Collaboration Workshop

The Ó£»¨Ó°ÊÓ and the City of Ó£»¨Ó°ÊÓ have renewed their long-standing commitment to collaboration through an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), creating new opportunities to work together on projects that make a positive impact in the community.

To help bring this commitment to life, we are inviting faculty, staff and researchers to submit short abstracts (up to 750 words) outlining ideas for collaborative projects for 2026 and beyond. These could involve research, student engagement, creative initiatives, or other forms of partnership that align with the City’s scope of work and priorities.

Those with ideas that align closely with the City’s priorities will be invited to share their concepts at the City–University Collaboration Workshop on January 28, 2026, at the University Club, where City staff will be available to discuss ideas.

Click to submit your idea.

If you have questions about the event or the MOU please reach out to Julie Potter, Associate Director, Community and Government Relations jmpotter@uvic.ca
