You make the difference

Thank you to UVic alumni and friends, businesses and foundations who support UVic through generous donations. More than 5,000 donors contribute to UVic annually and we appreciate every one of you.

Each year, students are realizing their dreams and researchers are making new discoveries because of you. And UVic programs—on campus and in communities—are making a difference to thousands of people.

Donor communites & clubs

These programs recognize the unique ways different donor communities support UVic.

Ring Road Loyalty Circle (RRLC)

RRLC is a special group of loyal donors who choose to give to UVic year after year. There are currently 2,627 members; 115 of whom have been loyal donors for 30 years or more!

Monthly Giving Club

Many donors choose to set up a monthly gift, providing a continuous source of support to UVic students and programs. There are currently 610 members of this club; many of whom are also part of the RRLC.

T.S. McPherson Legacy Society

Named after Thomas Shanks McPherson, the first person to bequeath a gift to UVic, this donor community consists of donors who intend to leave a gift in their will to UVic. There are currently 373 members of the legacy society.

Employee donors

This special group of donors believes so wholeheartedly in the mission of UVic that they give back to their place of work. There are currently 666 employee donors; many of whom are also members of additional donor communities like the Monthly Giving Club.
