Biography
Mark Gillen was appointed to the Faculty of Law in 1987 as assistant professor, was promoted to associate professor in 1992 and to full professor in 2001. He teaches Securities Regulation, Business Associations, Trusts, Tax, Competition Law and Historical Foundations of the Common Law. His primary areas of research are securities law, trusts and corporate law. Mark Gillen was a visiting professor at Nagoya University, Japan in 2005 and has been a visiting professor at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand every year except one since 1999.
