UVic Author Celebration
Each year, UVic faculty, staff, students, alumni, and retirees produce an incredible amount of intellectual content. These works reflect a broad and diverse range of research, teaching, personal, and professional interests.
UVic Libraries and the university bookstore celebrate UVic community authors in our collections.
About the program
To recognize our UVic community authors:
- The Libraries add a copy of new campus-authored books to our collection.
- Each honoured book includes an electronic book plate in our catalogue. This book plate recognizes that the book is part of the author celebration program.
- The Libraries and bookstore maintain a . This database is a rich source of information about the university and its faculty, staff, and students.
Submit a work
Any member of the UVic community (including alumni), may submit a work for the UVic Author Celebration Program.
To be eligible for submission, the work must be:
- a published monograph or other literary, dramatic, musical, or artistic work
- exception: reprints and articles published in a journal or magazine are not eligible
- authored, co-authored, edited, or translated by 樱花影视 faculty, students, staff, retirees, or alumni
- peer reviewed or publisher reviewed
