What are campus tours at Explore UVic?

Campus tours are guided walks led by current UVic students who share their personal stories and experiences as they show you around. You’ll explore the main campus, including classrooms, labs, green spaces and student life areas. See the schedule below.

All tours are led by current UVic students who know campus life firsthand. They’ll share what it’s really like to study here and answer your questions about classes, residence, clubs and campus culture.

What is the First Peoples House at UVic?

The First Peoples House is a gathering place for Indigenous students, Elders and the wider campus community. It reflects Indigenous culture, values and architectural traditions in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Can I tour the First Peoples House during Explore UVic?

Yes. Guided tours of the First Peoples House are offered as part of Explore UVic. You’ll learn about its cultural significance, design and the supports available to Indigenous students at UVic.

General campus tours

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

General campus tours start every 15 minutes outside Sngequ House and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

All tours are scheduled in Pacific Time.

First Peoples House tours

The First Peoples House is a social, cultural and academic centre for Indigenous students at UVic and serves as a safe and welcoming place that encourages the building of community. The First Peoples House tour is open to all attendees.
