JD/JID program structure
Core courses compare Canadian law with Indigenous legal traditions and are expanded to include both perspectives. Some first-year JD subjects are taken in second year to allow for this.
A required upper-year course on Coast Salish Law explores local legal traditions and their connections to language. You also take electives from both JD and specialized JD/JID courses.
