Printing in the labs

Printing from your device

You can set up Papercut Mobility on your own devices for quicker printing. PaperCut Mobility allows you to print straight from your own device.

  1. If you're not on the campus network, connect to UVic's Virtual Private Network (VPN).
  2. Go to and follow the instructions.
  3. If you're prompted to sign in to your PaperCut account, sign in with your NetLink ID and passphrase.

You can get more information and step-by-step instructions for on the PaperCut support site.

You can add whichever printers you want to use, based on location and type of printing (black-and-white or colour). You can remove printers when you're done with them or re-run the installer to add additional printers at any time.
